ABOUT US

👋 Hello we are SIA.

SIA is a contemporary bridal and occasion wear label shaped by intentional design, modern femininity and conscious craftsmanship.

We exist to offer a more considered bridal experience. One that feels personal, adaptable and designed around you.

Our pieces are designed in house and crafted in our Delhi atelier by highly skilled craftsmen. Nothing is mass produced and nothing is found anywhere else. Each design is created with care, precision and an understanding of how it should feel to wear.

We offer customisation so you can adapt pieces to suit your body and feel confident in what you are wearing. This should be standard, not the exception.

Our aesthetic is rooted in fluid drapery, sculptural silhouettes and confident tailoring, balancing softness with strength. Pieces are designed to move with you, feel effortless and work across every moment from civil ceremonies to celebrations and beyond.

We use premium materials and thoughtful production. We prefer natural fibres and steer clear of plastics because luxury should breathe.

The idea for SIA began with Swati, who after studying fashion in both London and New York, had always dreamt of creating her own contemporary occasionwear line in London inspired by her grandmother’s name. When Covid hit, that dream paused as she returned to India and built a couture line in her hometown. Her work quickly gained recognition for its craftsmanship, precision of cut and attention to fit, with each piece made with a level of care that felt deeply personal.

It was during this time that Swati and Aanya met in London through a mutual connection. During their first meeting, Swati gifted Aanya a blazer she had designed. The level of care, precision and finish felt completely different to anything Aanya had experienced in London. It reflected the same made for you approach that defines custom couture.

At the same time, Aanya was shopping for her own wedding and kept returning to the same frustration when shopping for her civil wedding in London. The lack of flexibility, personalisation and uniqueness made the gap increasingly clear.

With Swati’s expertise in craftsmanship, tailoring and garment construction and Aanya’s understanding of the modern customer and how women want to dress today, SIA was created.
